Rope Clamp for Wood Bench Swings
Installation is Simple
If using the eye screws provided, proceed with the following instructions. If you are using tree straps or rope bolts you can skip ahead.
Find a sturdy tree branch or beam.
- Find a thick 4–6" branch
- No dead branches
- Level = Better
- Or A Deck Beam

1. PRE-DRILL HOLE
- Attach a 1/4" drill bit to your drill.
- Drill clockwise into the center of the beam where you’ll hang the swing.
- Protect those amazing eyes with safety glasses while drilling.

2. Install Eye-Screw
- Twist the eye bolt into the hole you just drilled.
- After a few turns, slide a screwdriver through the eye for extra leverage.
- Keep turning until the threads are fully hidden—time to flex those muscles!

3. Attach The Swing
- Thread the rope through the eye bolt until the swing hangs about 6" above your desired height.
- Wrap the rope up toward the eye bolt at least twice.
- Feed the end down through the center loop and pull tight.
